Donation Sites Computer Recycling Donations We Cannot Accept
Computer Recycling
Goodwill has partnered with Dell’s
Reconnect Program, a free drop-off program
which allows donors to responsibly recycle any brand of
unwanted computer
equipment and accessories. Donors may drop off any
brand of used
equipment, in any
condition, at any Goodwill donation
center
statewide! Simply bring them along with any other items you would like to donate to us.
While computers are safe to use,
they do contain some environmentally sensitive materials. These
materials can be safely removed or recycled, but only if the computers
are kept out of landfills in the first place! The Reconnect Program
gives New Mexicans a free, green and convenient way to do it.
Donations we Cannot Accept
Goodwill regrets we must refuse certain donations.
While we are grateful for any donation, please understand that the following items may be
too costly to handle and sell. In addition, to remain in compliance with
government regulations, some items are deemed unsafe for resale.
We CANNOT accept:
• Household chemicals, insecticides, cleaning products, paint
• Automobile or truck parts, oil, tires, gasoline, fluids, etc.
• Any wet or soiled clothing or furniture
• Mattresses, box springs or household appliances
• Used building materials (concrete, bricks, stones, scrap iron, etc.)
• Used bathroom fixtures (sinks, tubs, toilets, etc.)
• Firearms and ammunition (we do accept antiques.)
• Food
• Televisions
