Transitional Opportunity Program (TOP)

The Transitional Opportunity Program (TOP) provides assistance in preparing individuals for eventual community employment. TOP teaches work behaviors in a “real” work setting. By the very nature of the work available at its facilities, Goodwill is able to create training opportunities that specifically meet the needs of the individual.

Individuals participating in TOP are funded through the Developmental Disability Waiver (DDW), State General Funding (SGF), and the Department of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR). In special situations, free services are provided to those ineligible for these funding sources.
