Goodwill Industries of New Mexico offers Google IT and Google Data Analytics classes designed to equip job-seekers with the advanced skills and knowledge needed to successfully find and maintain employment in today’s competitive job market. No prior computer/IT experience is required to qualify for the IT Support Professional Program. When you complete this program, you will be prepared for an entry-level position in the IT field. The course is a 12 to 18-week commitment requiring 16-20 hours of independent coursework per week and a once-weekly in-person class. Topics covered include system administration, computer networking, IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and others. Coursework is performed through Coursera, a leading online education provider, using short, engaging videos combined with labs that simulate on-the-job troubleshooting. Goodwill offers job placement assistance upon completion of the program, and graduates have the opportunity to share their resumes with local hiring managers.
