Who’s Your Favorite Teacher?
Teachers do so much for our kids, our families, and our communities. This back-to-school season, Goodwill Industries of New Mexico is giving you a chance to show your favorite currently working teacher a little extra appreciation.
From July 20 through August 17, 2026, visit any participating Goodwill location in New Mexico and look for our “Who’s Your Favorite Teacher?” contest banner. Scan the QR code on the banner to nominate your favorite currently working teacher for a chance to win a $100 Goodwill gift card.
Plus, everyone who submits a nomination will be entered into a random drawing for a $100 Goodwill gift card!
Winners will be notified on August 27, 2026. Please read complete contest rules below.
How to Enter
To nominate your favorite teacher:
- Visit a participating Goodwill location in New Mexico between July 20 and August 17, 2026.
- Look for the “Who’s Your Favorite Teacher?” contest banner inside the store.
- Scan the QR code on the banner.
- Complete the online entry form to tell us about a currently working New Mexico teacher who deserves to be celebrated!
No purchase or donation is necessary to enter.
Prizes
Goodwill will award teacher prizes in the following areas:
Albuquerque schools:
The top three eligible teachers from Albuquerque schools as selected by entries made at any of our 11 Albuquerque locations will each receive a $100 Goodwill gift card.
All other areas:
One eligible winning teacher will be selected from entries made at each of these Goodwill locations: Bernalillo, Carlsbad, Clovis, Farmington, Gallup, Los Lunas, Rio Rancho, Roswell, and Santa Fe. Each of those nine winners will receive a $100 Goodwill gift card.
In addition, all eligible entrants will also be entered into a random drawing for a $100 Goodwill gift card.
Who Can Be Nominated?
You may nominate a currently working teacher at a New Mexico school or educational program. This may include teachers at public, private, charter, tribal, nonprofit, preschool, elementary, middle school, or high school programs.
Whether they helped your child love reading, made math finally make sense, encouraged creativity, supported students through a tough year, or simply showed up every day with kindness and dedication, we want to hear about them!

The “Who’s Your Favorite Teacher?” contest is sponsored by Goodwill Industries of New Mexico.
Contest Period
The contest begins on July 20, 2026, and ends on August 17, 2026. Entries received before or after the contest period will not be counted.
No Purchase Necessary
No purchase, payment, or donation is necessary to enter or win. A purchase or donation will not increase the chances of winning.
How to Enter
To enter, participants must visit a participating Goodwill location in New Mexico during the contest period, locate the official “Who’s Your Favorite Teacher?” contest banner, scan the QR code on the banner, and complete the online entry form.
Eligibility for Teacher Nominees
Teacher nominees must be currently working as educators in New Mexico at the time of nomination. Eligible teachers may work at public, private, charter, tribal, nonprofit, preschool, elementary, middle school, or high school educational programs.
Eligibility for Entrants
The contest is open to individuals who submit an eligible entry through the official contest form. Goodwill Industries of New Mexico employees and their immediate family members are not eligible to win the entrant drawing or teacher prizes.
Voting and Entry Limits
Each person may submit one entry per day during the contest period. Duplicate, incomplete, fraudulent, automated, or suspicious entries may be disqualified at the sole discretion of Goodwill Industries of New Mexico.
Teacher Winner Selection
The top three eligible vote-getting teachers from Albuquerque schools will each receive one teacher prize. One eligible winning teacher will also be selected from each of nine additional Goodwill locations across New Mexico. Winners will be determined based on eligible entries received during the contest period.
Entrant Drawing
Everyone who submits a nomination will be included in a random drawing for one $100 Goodwill gift card. The entrant drawing winner will be selected at random after the contest closes.
Prizes
Each winning teacher will receive a $100 Goodwill gift card. The random drawing winner will also receive a $100 Goodwill gift card. Prizes are non-transferable, may not be exchanged for cash, and are subject to availability.
Winner Announcement
Winners will be announced on or around August 27, 2026. Goodwill Industries of New Mexico will make reasonable efforts to contact winners using the information provided in the entry form or other available contact information.
Winner Verification
Goodwill Industries of New Mexico reserves the right to verify that each teacher winner is currently working as an educator in New Mexico. If a winner cannot be contacted, does not meet eligibility requirements, or cannot be verified, Goodwill may select an alternate winner.
Publicity
Winning teachers and the entrant drawing winner may be invited to participate in photos, videos, social media posts, or other promotional announcements. Any photo or video use may require a signed release.
General Conditions
Goodwill Industries of New Mexico reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the contest if necessary. Goodwill also reserves the right to disqualify any entry that appears to violate the rules or compromise the fairness of the contest.
