Score Your Next Great Find in Los Lunas

We make secondhand shopping more rewarding by giving our community a place to find affordable merchandise while supporting a mission that reaches far beyond our retail stores. At our thrift store Los Lunas location, shoppers can explore an assortment of clothing, shoes, furniture, housewares, books, jewelry, electronics, and other donated goods. Since our inventory changes as new donations arrive, there is always a reason to come back . Whether we are searching for something practical or hoping to discover an unexpected treasure, we can shop with the knowledge that our purchases help support Goodwill Industries of New Mexico.

A Local Store With a Statewide Purpose

Our Los Lunas location is part of a larger effort to create opportunities for people throughout New Mexico. We are a local nonprofit, and our retail operations help generate the revenue needed to provide free programs and services to qualifying New Mexicans. Rather than treating our stores as the end of the donation process, we view them as an important part of a larger cycle. A donated item can become merchandise; that merchandise can generate revenue, and that revenue can help fund employment services, skills training, and social services. When we shop at our thrift store Los Lunas location, we are helping keep that cycle moving.

Make Your Shopping Budget Go Further

Secondhand shopping gives us another way to approach everyday purchases. Instead of automatically buying new, we can look for gently used merchandise that may meet our needs at a lower cost. Our stores offer changing selections across multiple categories, making it possible to shop for clothing, household items, furniture, books, electronics, and more in one place. At our thrift store Los Lunas location, we encourage shoppers to take their time and explore the merchandise because today's selection may look completely different from the next visit. That variety is part of what makes shopping at Goodwill such a unique experience.

Turn Unused Items Into Community Support

We also give Los Lunas residents a convenient way to put unwanted belongings to better use. Our donation center accepts many gently used and new items, including clothing, shoes, furniture, housewares, baby clothing, books, jewelry, electronics, and vehicles. Once donations enter our system, we assess them and determine the best way to maximize their value. Saleable merchandise can be placed in our stores, while other materials may be directed into our recycling efforts. By bringing acceptable donations to our thrift store Los Lunas location, we can clear out items we no longer need while helping generate resources for Goodwill's programs.

 What Your Support Makes Possible

Our stores help make services such as GoodJobs and GoodSkills available to New Mexicans at no cost to those who qualify. GoodJobs connects individuals with employers and supports their pursuit of long-term employment, while GoodSkills provides job-readiness training that includes employment basics and computer skills. We also offer specialized programs for youth, veterans, seniors, and others who need employment or social service support. Because our retail operations are connected to these programs, choosing to shop at our thrift store Los Lunas location can contribute to opportunities that extend well beyond the store itself.
