Also, New Mexicans can shop their local stores and save money while collectively diverting more than eleven millions pounds of materials from local landfills.

Goodwill’s donation-resale model extends the life of clothing and other goods and earns revenue for Goodwill job training programs, employment placement services, and other crucial social services for veterans, veteran families, senior citizens and individuals with brain injuries. Donating to Goodwill is a simple way to begin living more sustainably!

Revenue raised through the sale of donated goods creates employment opportunities and funds social services to help change the lives of New Mexicans in need. This is all accomplished through the simple act of cleaning out a closet. Committing to reduce, reuse and repurpose this Earth Day is as simple as heading to the nearest Goodwill store or donation center!
